Pretty good movie

I'm sorry, man, but the repetitive music really drove me nuts. All in all though, it's a good cartoon, and moreover, I'm used to having to blam new entries because not many people actually TRY to make good movies, so your entry was quite refreshing to see.

Not bad, but not great

You really needed better vocal recording. The screaming was awesome, but the poor recording quality of it was its own downfall.

Other than that, it was alright.

errr

That's some pretty fucked up shit. I think you might need to see a doctor, man.

........

I'm almost insulted that you used my music for this "thing" you call a movie.

Dan90 responds:

i hope you are insulted. its a terrible movie.

Good movie

At first, I thought this was a class project, but once you watch to the end, the more dry humor towards the beginning all of a sudden becomes worth watching through.

I agree with the guy who reviewed this before me

You have a natural talent for making flash movies. You artwork (excluding the characters, unless they're your original artwork too) is amazing, but even more amazing is your animating.

So, just why in the hell exactly did you do a Weird Al music video with that kind of talent? This is selling yourself short in the worst way.

I think I speak for everyone here at NG when I say, "We'd love for you to scrap stuff like this and start making original and serious movies. You have so much amazing potential. Please execute it right."

CapnBob responds:

I think you have it backwards. While I have been a long time fan of Weird Al, I'm making Lost music videos and I'm using Weird Al because the variety of different songs he has stitched together is the only thing that could possibly be used to conceptually sum up all the events of an entire season of a tv show.

I am not doing this to join or fit in to any sort of fad or scene. I did the first one as a joke, and I only finished it because I underestimated the amount of work required.

I did the second because people asked for it, because it was a challenge, because it will get me more exposure at this point than something original, AND because I once again severely underestimated how much work would be involved in executing this design.

To think that I am not going to create original works at the first opportunity is shortsighted, and moreso is the claim that you speak for everyone at NG. Perhaps more people will agree with you after my next project which will definitely be my own intellectual property, but popularity is a fickle thing and I'm not going to take it for granted that the audience for the two movies I have released here will all be on board with anything I do next.

That said... What in the world is wrong with making a Weird Al music video?

Wonderfully done

Great Madness spinoff, but I kinda have to ask: "How is this submission appropriate for all ages?"

Check your content labels correctly please.

However, great movie!

Well done

Don't let the graphics fool you in this piece. It was well animated, well conceived and executed, and showed a lot of professional quality talent in the animation process as well as the sound mixing.

You must watch this movie.

Erm.....

ooooookay. this was sort of .... bad.

Firstly, you need a preloader. It sucks to hear sound but not see a damn thing until the movie's finished loading.

Even when I finished loading the movie, I watched it. In all honesty, I can see where you were going with it, but you really need some character development. You should take into account that everyone that sees your movie doesn't know anything about it, and you should give your production that kind of treatment.

We can't get into the heart of your action when we don't know your heart yet. Next time, plan what you're going to do before you do it.

Suprisingly not bad

I had a bad first impression of this, but once I saw further into what it was, THEN I could appreciate it.

For anyone who absolutely hates those G4TV shows, this one's a great parody of those. While this movie's not the best in the world, it's worth seeing at least once.

Thanks for watching dude!

Keep shooting for the stars!
