Setu-Firestorm's News

I'm doing away with that silly "Other Side of Yesterday" name (those of you who've followed my earlier rock work know what I'm talking about) and just using my screenname for my rock albums from now on.

Anyway, I'm beginning a new rock album dedicated to the guild "Shattered Wings" which has been my best guild experience in all the time I've played World of Warcraft. Given that the name implies the theme of fallen angels, I will try to incorporate that idea in the lyrics of this album.

But anyway, the first song is up: titled "With Open Eyes"

EDIT: For those of you who've reviewed "With Open Eyes", I've uploaded the new version with fixed levels on the vocals.

Happy New Years to everyone!!!

I've edited and uploaded the video of the NYE party I went to at my friend's house that I shot.

I have also annotated the video with certain people who I've known better than others that were there (including Raegan Quinn who was there with her boyfriend; Raegan is the female vocalist in the "Hero of Time" music score that I finished composing as well as the vocalist to our song "Dream" here on Newgrounds.

The new video update is here, including two more questions from my video interview (even though Joel DID kinda edit out my answer to the actual first question)"

I was asked last night to shoot a video interview of myself for the HoT (Hero of Time) video series going on the movie's website. I was given questions to answer concerning the music score I did for the film.

So the interview was shot this morning and handed in for editing. I'll keep you guys updated on it, and I'll be sure to post it here when it's up on the site.

Again, thank you guys for your continued support (of at least me, even if you don't like the movie).

As promised from BMB Finishes, the new trailer for "The Hero of Time" is now released! This trailer features excerpts from the music score I spent the past 16 months working on. Enjoy! I'm as excited as most fans are.

I have not seen half of this CG until this trailer. Many scenes they gave me to score were bluescreened, so even I'm colored impressed at their work.

Note that from 1:48 to 2:38, the music there was a piece I originally did for a battle scene that was rejected, so it won't be in the film, which I'm thankful for, because the music that you WILL hear in the film, in its stead, is MUCH better.

I have been commissioned to score a fantasy RPG titled "Legend of Harpine", a game by Rose Skye.

Because the music is being paid for by the patron, I am not going to be uploading it here.

However, fear not, for I will be posting pieces as I complete them on my Myspace for listen (and you may also add them to your music playlists on Myspace as well), though unfortunately, downloads are disabled.

The first piece is up now, titled "Memories of Claire".

I had preordered the game "Dead Space" and just picked it up from Gamestop today.

All I can say is: Holy shit, the game is fucked up!

Not only are the graphics all-around amazing, but even the theatrical aspects of the game are just phenomenally scary, plus the game is about as ridiculously gory as the Starship Troopers movie.

If you're a survival horror fan, you must be out of your mind if you don't get this game!

If you're an Xbox360 or PS3 owner and you've never heard of this game, watch the trailer:
